A rally on wheelchairs under the slogan "Moscow Is Accessible" took place in the center of Moscow to draw attention to the problems that wheelchair users face every day in the Russian capital.

Several tens of people in wheelchairs covered a distance of only 1 kilometer to meet more than 10 obstacles on their way. The journey started from the Central Library.

The rally participants covered only 1 kilometer in Moscow city center to realize that it’s impossible to move on a wheelchair there. In other parts of the city the situation is even worse. 60 percent of wheelchair users have to spend most of the time at home because they have no opportunity to move around the city without any assistance.
