Brian sent in this story about the Caley Clan, which for all our readers is the name of the DSA whose members are all supporters of Inverness Caledonian Thistle F.C.

In early March we had our first fundraiser and raised approximately £180 selling raffle tickets at the Caley Thistle Club before the Motherwell game. This raised our profile and was a great day out as we also won 3-0!

The next event was a CLAN St Patrick’s Night on the 18th March where the raffle included signed gloves from Ryan Esson who is also an honorary member of our club.

It was organised in conjunction with L’Arche. In Inverness, L'Arche has seven houses where 19 adults with learning disabilities live with assistants and a workshop that welcomes 25 people each day to work in varying activities including candle making, woodwork, and horticulture or as part of our retirement project. L'Arche will be 35 years old next year!

The Caley Clan made many new friends had a very successful night and hope to have a joint venture with Larche and other groups in the future. We raised over £300 for our funds on the night.
