Getting to the stadium

Train: Birmingham New Street station is the city's main train station and is located approximately 6km from Villa Park. Birmingham New Street station is accessible for disabled passengers with services and facilities such as accessible toilets, assistive listening devices (induction hearing loops) and lifts to all platforms. Assistance with boarding and alighting is available. Assistance can be booked via the Passenger Assistance app or website. Birmingham New Street can also be contacted by telephone on 0121 654 2528 (Monday to Friday between 10am and 6pm). Outside of these hours, the station can be contacted on 0121 654 4243.

The nearest station to Villa Park from Birmingham New Street is Witton, which is approximately a five-minute walk away. The station has ramped access to and from the platforms. There are no accessible toilets at this station. Assistance will be provided by the onboard train manager on services. It is recommended any assistance needed at this station is pre-booked via the Passenger Assistance app or website

Fans can also travel to Aston station to reach to Villa Park. Aston station is approximately a ten minute walk away from the stadium. There is lift access to the platforms. There are no accessible toilets at this station. Assistance will be provided by station staff during the station ticket office opening times. Outside of these times, assistance will be provided by the onboard train manager. It is recommended any assistance needed at this station is pre-booked via the Passenger Assistance app or website

Assistance can be booked up to two hours before the departure of the service you wish to travel on.

Bus: Bus services NX7, NX907, NX33 and NX51 operate from Birmingham city centre to the stadium. Vehicles operating on these routes are accessible for one wheelchair user to board. These services can be extremely busy, especially post-match, so there may be a period of waiting before spectators can board.

The club offers accessible away travel for fans. Personal Assistants are charged. 


Accessible parking and drop-off/pick-up points

There are 160 accessible parking spaces for Home Supporters. They are situated on Holte End on site/ Villa Village on site, Yew Tree School and Majestic. 50 places available for away Supporters situated on the Away Coach Car Park Witton Lane (All subject to availability). The area around the ground is hilly with ramps and lifts operating in the stadium. Drop off and Lift passes are available for home and away supporters.

Spectator viewing areas

Wheelchair User spaces: 87. 

Home supporters have 79 spaces for wheelchair users available to them. 8 spaces for wheelchair users can be found in the home section for away supporters. Spaces can be found on an elevated mid tier position for both home and away supporters (the length of the Trinity Road Stand). The area allows all personal assistants to sit alongside with all positions fully covered.

Easy Access seating spaces: Places for ambulant disabled supporters can be found in a dedicated area in the home end, or alternatively the club will accommodate individual requests on application.

Accessible concessions

There are low level serving counters in the club shop.

The refreshment facilities have been adapted for both wheelchair users and ambulant disabled fans with full access to all catering outlets. Steward assistance is available if requested.There are low level serving counters at food/drink outlets.

There are 7, located within the stands. These all have RADAR locks and keys are available from stewards.


Accessible services

Audio-descriptive radio commentary is available via headsets. Headsets are provided free of charge - there are 20+ headsets for both home and away supporters. 

Aston Villa do provide facilities for assistance dogs (dog relieving areas).

The club also has hearing loops available for deaf or hard of hearing supporters.

Aston Villa do have spaces in hospitality and VIP areas for wheelchair users.
