France v Allemagne - Euro 2016 - Flandin Bonjour, Je suis en fauteuil roulant, l'accès au stade est aisé, l'accès à ma place en tribune Ganay (ascenseur 1 seul fauteuil) est moins facile ; arrivé au niveau 2, il y a un énorme problème, je n'ai pu voir aucune action "chaude" en effet tous les spectateurs devant nous se lèvent comme un seul homme et j'avais devant moi, un mur de dos. Cette situation est identique dans les virages et la tribune Jean Bouin ; à noter qu'un espace handicapé existe où la visibilité n'est pas entravée par les rangées de devant (un peu haut dans la tribune) et semble t-il, inutilisé pendant cet Euro. France v Albania - Euro 2016 - Keith Ferguson Buses and the metro are not accessible in Milles but the trams are but they don’t run near the stadium so we had to use a taxi! From the drop off point at the stadium the walk we had to make was ridiculous to our entrance point. Getting into the stadium was easy and the stewards were helpful. Same old story at the viewing area, poor sightlines when people stood, barrier in the way and no adjacent PA seats (apart from Allan’s which Keith grabbed right away). When leaving the stadium we are asked to walk up a very steep slope and down another slope further on when it was clear there were other routes. Keith said “non” and other wheelchair users gathered round while he pressed the point. Pressure told and a locked gate was opened to allow us all out a quicker and flatter route.

Marseille v Manchester United - Keith Ferguson I visited the stadium before the match with Manchester United on 24th February 2011. First some comments on the Jean Boudin Stand. There are two elevated sections at each end of the Jean Boudin Stand each having 14 wheelchair and PA positions. Designated toilets are in place and access to the stand is by lift controlled by Handifan Club stewards. Most disabled supporters prefer to use the area in the Ganay Stand which has a capacity for 466 fans. After you enter the stadium access leads you to the main entrance to the disabled area which is controlled by Handifan Stewards. Handifan Club manage their own refreshment kiosk which is in the main disabled area. Although a designated area it is right in the middle of the other seating and fans say they feel very much being part of the home crowd. The way the stand and seating is managed and laid out a wheelchair user and all of his/her family cl go together. At the end of the game all the stewards stay until everybody is back to their cars safely or have left the stadium grounds.
