The second meeting of the Disability Access Officer (DAO) Network Group has kicked off in Leipzig, Germany with DAOs from across Europe coming together to share best practices.

The DAO Network Group was established in late 2018, with the first meeting hosted by FC Barcelona in January 2019.

Since January, the group has continued to work together to shape the growth of the DAO role, and supporting CAFE in increasing awareness of the position.

Jochen Kemmer, Florian Hopp and Axel AckermannThe meeting began with a symbolic exchange of a signed ball between CAFE Project Manager Jochen Kemmer and our hosts, RB Leipzig. The club's Chief Financial Officer, Florian Hopp, and DAO Axel Ackermann, welcomed CAFE and the DAO Network Group to the stadium.

Speaking ahead of the event, Jochen said, "We are hugely grateful to RB Leipzig for all of their help and support in hosting the second DAO Network Group meeting, and I look forward to a very productive two days with the Group. We have many passionate and active members, and there is sure to be some fascinating discussions and presentations".
