CAFE’s Western European Development Officer, Keith Ferguson, recently visited the AFAS Stadion – home of Dutch side AZ Alkmaar. Here he met AZ supporters Silvia and Ester Scholten, who attend almost all of their side’s home and away matches.

AZ are currently playing in this year’s UEFA Europa League, and whilst Silvia and Ester couldn’t attend the game in Ukraine against Metalist Kharkiv they are planning on going to away fixtures against Austria Vienna and Malmo.

The sisters were delighted to hear of the work that CAFE are doing, and plans are already in place to work on setting up a DSA the next time Keith is in Holland.
