In pre season, Heart of Midlothian played a couple of friendlies in late July at the Oval, home of Glentoran F.C.

The HDSC had set up links in the past with the Glentoran DSA and it was good to see the effort they had put into building a new wheelchair user viewing area.

Keith Ferguson (Chairman of the SDSA) also met the two ladies who worked hard to set up the Glentoran DSA and who work tirelessly at every home game in the family milk bar.

In between the friendlies Keith had a meeting with Michael Hilland, an active member of the Inclusive Supporters Association – Northern Ireland  (and later a conversation with Aubrey Bingham) when it was agreed Keith would help out the group on secretarial matters for the next 12 months.

Is is hoped the SDSA and ISA-NI will forge close links in the coming months. Congratulations to the SDSA and ISA-NI on your cooperation!
