During the CAFE Week of Action 2016, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has hosted a meeting with Disability Access Officers in Lisbon.

At the FPF's annual coordination meeting, Disability Access Officers from across Portugal came together to discuss some of the issues commonly faced by football fans in the country.

UEFA's Executive Committee approved Club Licensing and Finanical Fair Play regulations in July 2015 that required clubs to appoint a disability access officer to assist in improving stadium facilities and access for disabled supporters. The Disability Access Officer criteria can be found in Article 35bis of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations.

Supporter Liaison Officers (SLOs) from across Portugal also attended the event, and items discussed included replacing seats in Portuguese stadiums and standardised format of providing information prior to matches.

The meeting was a great success and CAFE looks forward to continued cooperation with the FPF.
