Partick Thistle have just won the SFL first division and are back up in the SPL for the first time in a few years.

Scottish Disabled Supporters Association (SDSA) Chairman Keith Ferguson met with Partick's General Manager Ian Maxwell in early June, and the club are certainly on the way up as far as accessible facilities are concerned.

The stadium is a mixture of the old and new with the club building a new elevated section in the Jackie Husband stand for home wheelchair user fans.

Existing areas will remain meaning an increase in the number of spaces. In addition the club are happy to ask the SDSA for opinions on design on this project and future developments plus their disabled policy.

Partick Thistle also fully support the setting up of a Jags Disabled Supporters Association. Interest fans had already been in touch with the SDSA after the BBC Off The Ball radio programme had Keith along as a guest.

Victoria Blair will represent the club’s disabled supporters on the SDSA until a DSA is up and running.
