Śląsk Wrocław have unveiled a miniature version of their stadium to help partially sighted and blind people to familiarise themselves with the Stadion Miejski.

The statue is made of bronze, and is 100 times smaller than the real stadium. Śląsk Wrocław players helped to unveil the statue and tried to navigate around it with their eyes closed.

Fans can use the stadium statue between 10.00 and 18.00 every day, located in stand D at the Stadion Miejski.

The statue is another initiative by Śląsk Wrocław to make their matchday experience more accessible for partially sighted and blind fans. In addition the club provides audio-descriptive commentary for fans, broadcast on 94.5FM.

Weronika Paszewska, CAFE Project Co-ordinator in Poland said: “CAFE wishes to congratulate everyone involved in providing this new and inclusive information point at Stadion Miejski and we hope this will inspire other European clubs to follow their excellent example.”
