Last month, CAFE’s new Project Coordinator in Poland, Maria Popielawska, was part of a group of 18 Polish fans to visit the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy.

The trip to Rome was with Fundacja Podroze Bez Granic, which loosely translates into the Foundation for Travel with No Borders. The owners of the stadium, CONI, and AS Roma kindly organised a tour of the stadium, and showed the party around the accessible facilities within it.

After the tour had finished, one of the disabled visitors named Agnieszka said, “I promise myself that one day we will have the same level of service and accessibility for disabled football fans in Poland”. The group has already planned to visit several more football stadiums around Europe.

We would like to thank MyROMA for all of their help in setting up the visit, and very much appreciate their ongoing support.
