CAFE has been invited to join the project team of the Polish Football Association, working together to update the training package for matchday stewards.

The aim of the stewards training programme is to raise the standard of stewarding at football matches played in Poland, and provide a better quality of service for all fans. The package is based on European best standards and national legislation.

The first meeting of the group was held on 29th January 2014 in Warsaw, Poland, and was attended by fellow experts and practitioners relevant to the field. CAFE is represented on the group by Project Manager in Poland Zuzanna Ziajko, and will focus primarily on the sections of the training package relevant to disabled fans and providing accessible, inclusive solutions at stadiums.

CAFE is delighted to be involved in the project team, and look forward to continue making positive changes in Poland.
