CAFE working in cooperation with FC Gelios in Kharkiv

On 12 March, 2014 CAFE projects coordinator in Ukraine Ostapa Oleksandr had a meeting with Genadij Makarenko, the acting Director of the Solnechnyj Stadium in Kharkiv, and Yuri Ostroumov, press officer of FC Gelios.

FC Gelios plays in the First football League of Ukraine. On 4 August 2012 the team began to play at the new stadium Solnechnyj stadium in the village of Piatihatki.

Solnechnyj Stadium is a sports complex built in preparation of Ukraine co-hosting UEFA EURO 2012. During the tournament, Solnechnyj was used as a spare base.

The arena can welcome five thousand supporters. There are 20 dedicated parking spaces for cars of disabled supporters in the parking area, and an accessible toilet.

During the meeting, the club press officer Yuri Ostroumov noted that the club is ready to make an enjoyable pastime for all the supporters of FC Gelios.
