CAFE is delighted to confirm that this season's CAFE Week of Action - the eleventh annual global celebration of access and inclusion within sport - will take place between 11-19 March 2023.

Since 2013, CAFE has invited stakeholders from across all levels of sport to join our annual campaign, placing disabled fans and accessibility into the spotlight and recognising the many diverse roles that disabled people can play right across the industry.

Last season, during the tenth Week of Action, we were delighted to celebrate #TotalAccess in 32 countries. This year we are aiming to spread our message even further, and are hoping for a record-breaking initiative in 2023!

The CAFE Week of Action provides like-minded individuals and organisations with the opportunity to raise awareness and join a global movement. Whether you have taken part previously or not, we invite you to join us this season.

We are currently finalising translated information packs, and hope to be able to publish these by the end of August. The information packs contain further background information about the campaign, as well as a list of suggested activities and guidance on how you can request CAFE Week of Action-branded graphics to complement your activities.

We are also delighted to confirm that the CAFE Week of Action small grants programme will return once again this season, offering disabled fans and their groups the opportunity to apply for up to €250 of funding to support their CAFE Week of Action activities. More information on the programme will be available in the information packs, with the application window expected to open in September.

It is vitally important that we continue to celebrate and encourage the removal of barriers disabled people can face. Removing the barriers to accessing live sport benefits everyone. We aspire to be part of the positive change, harnessing the unique power of sport to act as a catalyst for disability-inclusive change in the wider society.
