CAFE to attend 'The Football We Love' event

CAFE will be participating at this year’s 'The Football We Love' event on May 17, organised by Sport and Citizenship, in Brussels.

The theme of the conference will be that football can be a vehicle for tolerance between citizens.

CAFE Managing Director Joyce Cook will take part in a roundtable discussion on the second day of the event. The focus of the debate will be on how football can be used efficiently as a tool to improve integration and social equality.

Also taking part in the discussion will be Emine Bozkurt, MEP; Mel Young, president-founder of the Homeless World Cup; Trevor O’Rourke, Director of Global Football for Special Olympics Europe Eurasia; Jurgen Griesbeck, Founder/Director of Streetfootballworld; and Steffi Jones, FIFA Ambassador for Women’s Football.
