CAFE has published a detailed access information guide for disabled fans who are attending this season’s UEFA Champions League Final in Madrid.

This year's Final, an all-English Premier League encounter between Tottenham Hotspur FC and Liverpool FC, takes place on Saturday 1 June at the Estadio Metropolitano. The stadium is the home of Spanish La Liga club Atletico de Madrid.

The CAFE Disabled Spectators Guide provides information for disabled supporters planning to attend the Final, including how to get to the stadium, accessible services and facilities available within the stadium, location of the UEFA Champions Festival sites as well as information on accessible public transport in Madrid.

An audio-descriptive commentary (ADC) service, which is a particular benefit to blind and partially sighted spectators, will be provided in two languages (English and Spanish) at the Final. This inclusive service will enable listeners to enjoy the live commentary from any seat in the ground.

To tune into audio-descriptive commentary in either English or Spanish, listeners are requested to bring your own personal radio or FM radio compatible mobile device to the stadium (Please note: many iPhones are currently not FM radio compatible).

You can tune into the audio-descriptive commentary inside the stadium using the following frequencies:

  • 87.7FM MHz will be SPANISH
  • 97.8FM MHz will be ENGLISH

40 additional headsets (20 per language) will be available should blind and partially sighted spectators be unable to access the ADC service via their own devices. The headsets will be available for collection on a first come, first serve basis, from the entrance to accessible car parking area and drop-off / pick point located at P SUR B.
