European Disability Charity to stage inaugural conference at the Poland National Stadium.

The brand new National Football Stadium in Warsaw, Poland, will play host to the first ever conference held by the Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE) on 24^th and 25^th September 2011.

The conference, ‘Total Access, Total Football’, will see football dignitaries, stadium managers, architects, club representatives and disabled fans meet to discuss making European Football accessible to all.

CAFE’s primary aim is to promote and deliver inclusive football stadiums across Europe and to ensure that everyone including those who face physical, sensory and intellectual barriers can access the game.  The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to discuss inclusive stadium design along with solutions for improving existing facilities and services.

Confirmed speakers at the event include David Bernstein (Chairman of CAFE), Ben Veenbrink (UEFA Stadium Construction and Management Panel) and Rafal Kapler (Chairman of the National Stadium Warsaw) along with representatives from UEFA and Disabled Supporters Groups.

CAFE is also working with EURO 2012 and the Local Organising committees in Poland and the Ukraine to help ensure a more accessible experience for local and visiting disabled fans and tourists during the tournament.
