To kick off the 2015 CAFE Week of Action – Total Football, Total Access – in Ukraine, CAFE has appointed Metalist Kharkiv captain Serhiy Pohorilyi as an Ambassador.

Serhiy is a goalkeeper and joined Metalist Kharkiv earlier this year. As a CAFE Ambassador, he will promote our message of equal access to football stadiums for disabled fans. He will also be one of the public faces of the work we are doing in Ukraine, in legacy of UEFA EURO 2012.

Serhiy said, “It is great that disabled fans attend our matches, and I know that they are very passionate about both football and Metalist Kharkiv. We always feel their support when we play”.

Ahead of Metalist’s match last weekend against Karpaty Lviv at Metalist Stadium, Serhiy was presented as a CAFE Ambassador on the pitch.

We welcome Serhiy to the CAFE family and thank him for helping to spread ‘Total Football, Total Access’ in Ukraine!
