Independence Cup participants attend a football match

As part of the 22^nd anniversary of Ukrainian Independence Day celebrations, the non-governmental organisation “Association of disabled people with spinal injuries of Ukraine” held a sporting event named the “Independence Cup”.

Participants from all over Ukraine came to Kiev to compete in different sports. With the support of the Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE), guests were able to attend the football match between Arsenal Kiev and Illichivets Mariupol on 24^th of August at the Dynamo Stadium.

Disabled supporters enjoyed the football and were able to take pictures with football players from both teams and collect their autographs after the game.
