Getting there and Parking


Accessible public transport is limited across the city.

CAFE understands that some bus routes have wheelchair accessible vehicles with low-level floors and ramped access. These vehicles have space to accommodate on wheelchair user.

CAFE understands that Rádiotaxi Central provides wheelchair accessible taxis. CAFE would recommend disabled passengers pre-book journeys in advance by telephone:-

Uber also operate in Guimarães. It may be possible to order wheelchair accessible vehicles via the Uber app.


The nearest airport to the stadium is Porto airport. From here it is approximately a 45 minutes journey to the stadium.


From Guimarães station, the stadium is approximately a 10 -15 minute journey by taxi. Disabled passengers can also take bus TUG H00 from outside the station and alight at Estadio bus stop (15 stops). From this stop, the stadium is approximately a 200 metre walk. Approximate journey time by bus is 35 minutes.


A limited number of accessible car parking spaces are available in stadium's underground car park.


There are some steep slopes leading to the stadium podium which wheelchair users and supporters with reduce mobilty may find difficult to access

Getting a Ticket


CAFE understands that accessible area tickets can be bought in person at the club's ticket office located at the stadium. Please note that there are no low-level serving windows at the ticket offices. 

Spectator Viewing areas


There are two accessible entrances at the stadium Gate 4 in the south sector and Gate 13 in the north sector. There is limited signage indicating the location of the accessible entrance points.


For the UEFA Nations League Finals the accessible entrance points used for domestic matches will be renumbered to Gate 8 and Gate 15.


The stadium has 35 wheelchair user spaces on level 1 for general spectators. There are 15 wheelchair user spaces in the North stand and 20 wheelchair user spaces in the South stand. Wheelchair user spaces have adjacent companion seating and sufficient space for egress.


Sightlines from both wheelchair user viewing areas are obstructed, particularly if supporters in front stand up.


There are currently no wheelchair user spaces in the VIP and hospitality areas. 


The stadium has advised that for domestic games there are no designated easy access seating available. For the UEFA Nations League Final 30 easy access seats will be located across sectors WE, NE, ND and SD.




Concessions and refreshment kiosks are located near to accessible viewing areas. However, there are no low-level counters or priority lanes are available.


There is one accessible unisex toilet located in the north sector and one accessible unisex toilet located in the south sector.


Both toilets are located close to the wheelchair viewing areas.


Both accessible toilets offer either left or right-hand transfers and have sufficient space for a wheelchair user and companion to enter, where required.


There are no ambulant disabled cubicles available at the stadium.


There are no Changing Places toilet facilities available.



For the UEFA Nations League Finals, an audio descriptive commentary (ADC) service will be provided in two languages (English and Portuguese).

Public frequency for both games to be played at the stadium are:

  • 89.3 MHz for Portuguese
  • 90.1 MHz for English

Additional headsets will be available for any disabled spectators who wish to use the ADC service and may have forgotten to bring their headphones or device with them.


The headsets will be available for collection on a first come, first served basis at both accessible entrance points – gates 8 and 15.


Assistive listening devices (hearing loops) are not provided at the stadium.


Guide and assistance dogs are able to be permitted into the stadium.


First aid rooms are located close to the accesible viewing areas and are accessible for disabled spectators.


Disabled spectators on located in accessible seating can exit directly to the stadium perimeter.
