We recently discovered at CAFE that one of our Northern Irish supporters is also a Powerchair football player with the Belfast Trailblazers. Scott Hilland, who joined us for our conference at Wembley Stadium, and his team, competed earlier this year in the Association of Ireland Powerchair Football Competition.

Their semi final tie was against Shannonside Rangers, and Scott scored the second goal in a 2-0 victory. The final was between Belfast Trailblazers and the Kingdom Rebels.  Another goal from Scott three minutes before the end saw the Belfast side equalise and take the game into extra time, where the golden goal rule was used. Yet again Scott Hilland scored to secure a 2-1 win for his team to win the competition.Well done to Scott and his team mates!
