To gain a wider understanding of the experiences of disabled football fans in Ukraine, CAFE is pleased to announce the launch of a national survey and research project.

CAFE believes that live sport provides experiences that can have a life-changing impact, and everyone should have equal access to those moments. Our vision is a world where disabled people are a key part of the global sporting landscape, as fans, employees, volunteers and leaders, so that everyone has equal opportunities to contribute in an accessible, inclusive and welcoming environment.

Working in collaboration with the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF), we are inviting disabled people from across the whole of Ukraine to participate in this research project.

Take part in the Ukrainian Disabled Fans Survey (in Ukrainian only).

We are particularly keen to hear from match-going disabled fans to further understand your matchday experiences at stadiums throughout the country.

We also encourage disabled people who wish to become match-going supporters to share their stories and experiences, around the existing barriers which prevent you from being able to attend live matches.

CAFE welcomes responses from differently disabled people from across Ukraine, which will help us in working towards a game that is accessible, inclusive, and welcoming to all. We would also be keen to hear from non-disabled fans, on their understanding of disabled fans experiences when attending matches at their clubs.

The Ukrainian Disabled Fans Survey consists of five sections and should take approximately 25 minutes to complete. We are hoping to publish an alternative easy to read version of the survey in February.

The survey will be open and available for completion until 18:00 CET on Monday 5 April 2021. A detailed report on the findings will be published later in the year.
