CAFE Week of Action

The CAFE Week of Action is a unique opportunity for clubs, venues, federations and supporters groups to celebrate disabled people and the important role they can play in both sport and the wider society.

The ninth annual CAFE Week of Action will take place between 6-14 March 2021, and we encourage stakeholders from across sport to join us in marking the largest action of its kind raising awareness of access and inclusion within sport.

Download the CAFE Week of Action 2021 information pack (English). The information pack can also be downloaded in Dutch, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

CAFE has also launched a small grants programme to support disabled fans and DSAs in taking part in the CAFE Week of Action.

The CAFE Week of Action small grants programme is open now, with grants of up to €250 available to disabled fans and disabled supporters associations (DSAs). Find out more about how you can apply.

Grant applications must be submitted by 15 February 2021.

Why get involved?

The CAFE Week of Action is about celebrating inclusion in the game that we love, and working towards ensuring disabled people can take their rightful places amongst their peers within sport - from the grassroots to the boardrooms - as spectators, players, coaches, administrators, volunteers, and decision makers.

The CAFE Week of Action belongs to you, our key stakeholders – disabled fans and their groups, clubs, leagues and the national associations. This is a great opportunity to present a positive story of inclusion and access.

The message of #TotalAccess has continued to spread across Europe and beyond, with an ever-growing number of disabled people enjoying live sport.

#TotalAccess is not just a motto – it is what the game should be aspiring to achieve.

CAFE is pleased to promote and celebrate the activities and initiatives who share our belief in #TotalAccess. We can also help and advise you on any events and projects you may be planning and we will be pleased to share them widely amongst our networks to help further raise awareness.

If you would like to discuss your ideas further with CAFE, feel free to contact us by email to [email protected], or call +44(0)208 065 5108.
