As a successful applicant of the CAFE Week of Action small grants programme, Greenock Morton FC took part in a number of activities in celebration of #TotalAccess, led by Disability Access Officer (DAO) Andy Adams.

Greenock Morton Football Club, who play in the Scottish Championship, were one of a number of clubs and Disabled Supporters Associations (DSAs) to successfully apply for a grant of up to €250 to support them join in celebrating #TotalAccess

The CAFE Week of Action grant supported the club in organising several activities focused on access and inclusion around their home league fixture against Ayr United FC. This included the livestreaming of the game, with the CAFE #TotalAccess video played during the pre-match build-up.

The CAFE Week of Action was also at the very heart of the Greenock Morton online Weekly Update led by DAO Andy Adams:

The club also launched a social media competition in partnership with the local branch of a fast-food distributor ahead of their match against Dunfermline Athletic FC, another successful applicant of the CAFE Week of Action small grant programme.

Speaking on the Club's inclusion's activities, DAO Andy Adams said, "Although things were different due to Covid 19 this year, it meant that the team at Greenock Morton FC had to be more creative in promoting the message of CAFE Week of Action.

"Feedback I have received has been positive and in these unusual circumstances I believe we were able to connect with a wider number of people during the week."

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Andy and everyone at Greenock Morton FC for their support during the CAFE Week of Action 2021, and their continued efforts to improve the experiences of all disabled fans.
