As a successful applicant of the CAFE Week of Action small grants programme, Parafan club Dynamo Kyiv made sure to celebrate #TotalAccess in style with the support of the Club.

For Dynamo Kyiv's home fixture against Villareal in the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League, the club's disabled supporters association (DSA) reached out to disabled fans and invited them to the NSC Olimpiysky Stadium to cheer on their team.

A CAFE Week of Action banner was installed on an accessible seating area within the stadium, to show support for the campaign and outline CAFE and Parafan Club Dynamo Kyiv's shared commitment to access and inclusion for all. Disabled fans also displayed CAFE Week of Action banners outside the stadium.

Earlier this year, CAFE launched a national survey and research project to gain a wider understanding of the experiences of disabled football fans in Ukraine.

Working in collaboration with the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF), CAFE invited disabled people from across the whole of Ukraine to participate in this research project.

Findings of the survey will be published and shared in the coming weeks.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Vladislav and Parafan Club for their support during the CAFE Week of Action 2021, and their continued efforts to improve the experiences of all disabled fans.

The CAFE Week of Action small grants programme offers funding to disabled supporters and DSAs to participate in the CAFE Week of Action. Grants of up to €250 were available, subject to a successful application to CAFE. A similar programme will be made available ahead of the CAFE Week of Action 2022.

The CAFE Week of Action 2021 summary report will be published in due course, with information for the 2022 campaign to be published later in the year.
