Spanish club Sevilla FC joined in the CAFE Week of Action 2021 celebrations by sharing all of the latest accessibility improvements made to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium, as well as performing the Sevilla FC club anthem with a sign language interpreter.

To mark the CAFE Week of Action 2021, Sevilla FC Board member Luis Castro gave a tour of the latest improvements made to the stadium as part of the "Un Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan para todos" campaign.

Luis Castro informs us that the Club has not only been sure to comply with the accessibility regulations laid out by UEFA ahead of the hosting of the UEFA Europa League Final in 2022, but the objective has been "to go beyond what the rules specify".

Latest improvements include the installation of new lifts, made of glass so as to take into account any supporters that may be anxious in closed spaces. Accessible bathrooms, concessions and tickets counters have also been installed at the stadium.

The stadium tour has now also been made more inclusive, with each part of the visit now accessible for wheelchair users including the changing rooms and press conference room.

Luis Castro also specifies that the club is making sure that accessible services are implemented to support differently disabled fans, including audio descriptive commentary (ADC)

As well as sharing important information about the club's efforts to ensure the matchday experience is increasingly inclusive for their fans, Sevilla FC also provided a new addition to the CAFE Week of Action soundtrack.

The Club arranged for Javier Labandón "el Arrebato" to perform a unique rendition of the iconic Sevilla FC anthem from the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan pitch, alongside a sign language interpreter, so that all fans could enjoy the performance.

We would like to thank Luis Castro, Javier Labandón, Santiago González Montaño and everyone at Sevilla FC and their Foundation, involved in ensuring that this year's CAFE Week of Action was one to remember.
