CAFE is delighted to announce the appointment of Isobel Robins as our new Research Intern.

Isobel is a recent graduate from the University of Manchester with an honours degree in Religion and Anthropology.

She is also an avid rugby supporter and player, who has volunteered as a committee member and as an England Rugby Ambassador.

Isobel joins the team having previously worked as a trampolining coach for differently disabled adults and children, including autistic people, learning disabled people, physically disabled people and people with brain injuries. She has four years of experience as a support worker in a residential setting supporting learning disabled adults.

CAFE Managing Director Joanna Deagle said, “We are delighted to welcome Isobel to CAFE’s team. She has settled in well and is already proving to be a great addition to the side.”

As part of her new role, Isobel will support the team with ongoing research in order to work towards CAFE’s aim of Total Football #TotalAccess. She has previously worked on research projects about access to healthcare, refugees, female sexuality in sports, and discrimination.
