Having discovered vandalism to their disabled enclosure, Glentoran’s Disabled Supporters Group have been raising funds to repair it. The group plan to make the section bigger and better than it was before, hoping to attract a number of new supporters to use it.

The new enclosure will be able to accommodate 12 wheelchair users, with a personal assistant space for each. Away supporters will also be welcomed to use it, and rebuilding work has now started.

Glentoran have been fully-supportive of the DSG and welcome anything that they can do to improve the facilities at The Oval. Part of the Main Stand at the stadium has been given to the DSG to build a second disabled enclosure, which is great news. The DSG are doing a wonderful job at Glentoran and we praise them for this!
