CAFE is delighted to announce that Eleni Theodorou has been appointed to the CAFE Board of Directors.

Eleni is a young professsional with a hybrid background in both the private and the public sector. She has researched and conducted reports for the WHO, Geneva Gender Champions and Cern, Philanthropy Advisors and won multiple awards such as the All4Youth Innovation Challenge by Nestlé, EY, Firmenich and others.

Eleni is currently conducting a consultancy with the Global Business and Disability Network on business for the International Labour Organisation. She is also the partnerships manager for Movement on the Ground, a humanitarian organisation.

Eleni has a deep interest in corporate impact investing and venture philanthropy for disability. Her goal is to create a mindset shift in order to show that disability inclusion is good business, and disabled people are a human capital that companies should invest in.

A speaker of five different languages, Eleni is a specialist in developing public and private sector partnerships and has a track record of fostering growth and development across many NGOs.

Speaking after her appointment to the Board of Directors, Eleni said, "I am proud to take up this new role as a Director and Trustee at CAFE. I am a firm believer in an inclusive society that welcomes everybody, and CAFE plays an important role in improving access and inclusion for disabled people through the power of football. I hope to bring my experiences to the Board of Directors, and help CAFE to reach even greater heights in the future”.
