Disabled spectator guide published for UEFA Super Cup 2022

CAFE has published the disabled spectators guide for disabled fans attending this season's UEFA Super Cup in Helsinki.

The Helsinki Olympic Stadium will host this season's UEFA Super Cup - the showpiece fixture between last season's UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League winners to kick off the new campaign - on Wednesday 10 August.

Real Madrid who defeated Liverpool in Paris, will take on Eintracht Frankfurt, who won a penalty shootout to beat Rangers in Seville.

CAFE’s disabled spectators guide contains information on the accessible services, facilities and amenities available on matchday at the stadium.

An audio-descriptive commentary (ADC) service will be provided at the stadium in two languages (Finnish and English). This inclusive service, which can be of particular benefit to partially sighted and blind spectators, will enable listeners to enjoy the live commentary from their seats.

To listen to the ADC commentary at the UEFA Super Cup 2022, CAFE encourages disabled spectators to bring their own personal radio or FM radio compatible mobile device and earphones in order to tune into the service. Please note: a number of smartphones including iPhones and Google Pixel phones may not currently be FM radio compatible.

Ear-hook earphone devices will be available for any disabled spectators who wish to use the ADC service and may have forgotten to bring their own headphones or device with them. Volunteers will be on hand to provide disabled spectators with the ADC devices should they require one.
