On February 10, 2014 CAFE Project Coordinator in Ukraine Oleksandr Ostapa met with Oleksandr Savenko, a Press Officer of FC Arsenal Kiev.

FC Arsenal will play in Professional Football League in Ukraine next season. The club wants to reconstruct their stadium in little town near to Kiev.

CAFE wanted to discuss the proposed accessible facilities at the stadium for disabled fans, and how the club would do more to make matchday at the stadium more accessible. Oleksandr Savenko gladly accepted CAFE's offer of becoming consultants on accessibility, based on the recommendations of the UEFA and CAFE Good Practice Guide “Access for All”.

CAFE will also help to launch a disabled supporters association (DSA) at the club this spring. Arsenal has identified a number of active disabled supporters who will become coordinators of the DSA.

We look forward to a long and successful cooperation with the club!
