CAFE is aware of multiple reports of the safety of disabled people being compromised at the UEFA Champions League Final at the Stade de France on Saturday 28 May.

We are aware of the experiences and concerns of disabled Liverpool supporters, and local disabled fans, as to the situation outside the stadium. We understand that there were also issues at the Real Madrid side of the stadium.

Those scenes outside the stadium did not reflect the accessible, inclusive and welcoming matchday experience that we are committed to promoting, and must never be repeated.

CAFE will be putting together observations and seeking reassurances from both UEFA and the French authorities that lessons are learned for future matches.

We were also disappointed to hear that sightline issues were reported from accessible seating areas. We would welcome further feedback on this, as well as any images or videos from affected areas.

We invite you to share any comments, photos and videos with us, from the issues at the entrance gates, inside the stadium and during the match, and after the match.

If you are a disabled fan who wants to report your experiences please email us at [email protected]. Alternatively, you can call us at +44 (0)203 355 9867.
