The CAFE team is paying close attention to the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, and we are taking advice on our response to the current situation.

CAFE is mindful that the CAFE Week of Action 2020 – our eighth annual celebration of Total Football #TotalAccess – is scheduled to begin on Saturday 7 March, and that activities taking place during the campaign may be affected by measures put in place to tackle COVID-19.

We completely understand that some activities will need to be postponed to prevent the spread of coronavirus. CAFE supports the decision of all stakeholders who choose to delay their activities until a later date.

We will continue to work with stakeholders who wish to celebrate and promote improved access and inclusion for disabled people through the unique power of football later in the year.

The CAFE Week of Action 2020 will still take place, and we still have plenty of exciting stories to share. However, we will also take on a degree of flexibility and promote activities taking place at a later time.

We urge all of our friends, partners and stakeholders not to take any unnecessary risks during this outbreak, and follow advice from governments and local authorities on public events and travel.

CAFE will continue to monitor the situation closely, and will report any advice that we receive with regard to upcoming UEFA matches and this summer’s European Championships on our website – www.cafefootball.eu.

If you were planning to join the CAFE Week of Action 2020 and wish to further discuss the effect of COVID-19 on your planned activities, please email [email protected] and we would be pleased to offer our advice and support.

To support with sharing information of UEFA competition matches affected by COVID-19, our friends Football Supporters Europe (FSE) have created the below map showing where fixtures are subject to restrictions.

Clicking on each marker on the map will display information related to that fixture. FSE will continue to update the map as more information becomes known.
