CAFE proud to celebrate International Women's Day 2017

CAFE is proud to celebrate International Women's Day 2017, and this year's theme of "Be Bold For Change".

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

The World Economic Forum predicts the gender gap won't close entirely until 2186.

CAFE is committed to working towards a game that is accessible and inclusive for all. We have long stated that football has a unique power to bring about social change.

Today we particularly think of the women that regularly go above and beyond in the fields of access and inclusion.

International Women's Day 2017 also falls during this season's CAFE Week of Action, when we celebrate the advantages of Total Football Total Access. We invite our networks to 'Be Bold For Change' and work towards a truly inclusive society through the power of football.
