On Monday 20 September and Wednesday 22 September, CAFE will hold a Spanish Disability Access Officer (DAO) group meeting, with DAOs coming together virtually to exchange best practices.

Attending DAOs will have the opportunity to meet and discuss their roles within their respective clubs and organisations, with a particular focus on innovative ways to improve matchday accessibility.

On Wednesday, CAFE's newest Ambassador, Laura Gutierrez, will provide insight to her work with the UD Levante Foundation and her work in access and inclusion since retiring from playing professionally.

CAFE will provide an update on recent works, guidance around DAO responsibilities as well as solutions for commonly faced issues.

DAOs from a number of La Liga clubs will be in attendance including representatives from Sevilla FC, FC Barcelona, Real Betis Balompie and Atletico de Madrid. Representatives of Argentinian clubs will also join the meeting, with River Plate, Rosario and Velez amongst those set to take part in the virtual meeting.

This meeting comes shortly after the 5th European DAO Network Meeting and the Scottish and English DAO exchange which both took place virtually earlier this month.

Project Manager Jochen Kemmer, who coordinates the DAO Network, said: "I'm very pleased to be holding another virtual meeting that allows us bring together club representatives from Spain and Argentina to learn more about the DAO role andto share their experiences in the area of access inclusion.

"Monday was a great introduction and the discussions were very vivid / engaging and I'm excited for more discussions to come on Wednesday, as well as hearing from our Ambassador Laura Gutierrez."
