The CAFE exhibition slides have been installed at Shakhtar Donetsk’s Donbass Arena.

The main aim of the exhibition is to present the important role that football is playing in integrating disabled fans by creating accessible stadia across Ukraine and the rest of Europe. In addition, CAFE hopes the exhibition will help to raise awareness amongst the wider society by introducing the public to the subject of access and inclusion for disabled people.

The slides were hung outside the stadium prior to the match between Shakhtar and Karpaty Lviv. This second set of slides has been produced by the Donbass Arena at their own expense as part of Shakhtar’s activities to mark the 2014 CAFE Weeks of Action – Total Football, Total Access.

The original CAFE exhibition slides in Ukraine are currently installed at the NSC Olympiyskiy Stadium in Kiev. They have already been installed at a number of other venues, including at the Metalist Stadium in Kharkiv and at Ukrinform, the Ukrainian National News Agency. The exhibition will continue its journey across Ukraine, spreading the message far and wide.

It is great to see the exhibition slides currently in place at two high-profile stadiums in Ukraine and we would like to give a special thanks to the Donbass Arena for producing the second version.
