Earlier this week CAFE attended a Spectator Experience Seminar in Paris, alongside stadium managers from all clubs in France’s top two divisions.

The seminar, organised by Ligue de Football Professionel (LFP) and Keneo, was held at Paris Saint-Germain’s Parc des Princes stadium. The seminar focused on ways that clubs can attract more fans to their stadiums on matchdays and offer an improved experience.

CAFE Fans Liaison & Development Manager Joanna Deagle presented on CAFE’s works and projects, and discussed how CAFE can advise the clubs on ways to improve access and inclusion for their disabled fans.

Speaking after the seminar, Joanna said, “It was a great opportunity to raise our topic with so many French stadium managers and we would like to thank LFP and Keneo for inviting us to attend. Disabled people are the largest minority group in the world, and it was important to emphasise that there are strong moral and business cases to be made for improving access to stadiums”.

Other topics discussed at the seminar included stadium branding, VIP and hospitality seating areas and matchday services.
