CAFE has appointed Jochen Kemmer as our new DAO Project Manager.

Jochen is German mother tongue, fluent in English, French, Spanish and has some advanced skills in Portuguese. He has graduated with a Masters degree in Sports Administration and has gained experiences in various Sports Federations. An avid football player, coach and fan, he has been accompanying sports activities for disabled people for many years.

Jochen joins the team having gained experience working for the International University Sports Federation, the International Motorcycling Federation and volunteering on various Special Olympics events.

CAFE Managing Director Joanna Deagle said, "We are delighted to welcome Jochen to the CAFE team. He is already settling in well, and proving to be a great addition to the side". 

As part of his role, Jochen will support CAFE’s works around the Disability Access Officer (DAO) project. The DAO project was introduced into article 35bis of UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play regulations. Jochen will be working with stakeholders across Europe to develop the DAO role.
