CAFE is looking to appoint locally-based disabled football fans to become CAFE accessibility monitors at this season’s UEFA Europa Conference League Final in Prague, to evaluate accessible services, facilities and amenities in place for disabled spectators.

We are looking to recruit a wheelchair user and a disabled person (who does not use a wheelchair but requires easy access seating or to be seated near to accessible services), to attend this season’s Final, which is being played at the Eden Arena in Prague, Czechia on Wednesday 7 June 2023.

CAFE is looking to receive applications from differently disabled people, who are passionate about accessibility, and can draw upon personal experiences to provide us with in-depth user-led feedback on the accessible services, facilities, and amenities available for disabled spectators at the Final.

Apply to become a CAFE accessibility monitor at the UEFA Europa Conference League Final 2023.

A complimentary companion ticket and accessible parking permit (subject to availability) will be provided to all Accessibility Monitors, if required.

Successful applicants will need to submit valid proof of eligibility to CAFE. Valid proofs of eligibility for Czech-based applicants include:

  • Czech Disability Card
  • Signed and recently dated doctors / hospital letter stating access requirements / need for accessibility tickets.

A short online training for accessibility monitors will be provided by CAFE (either by Zoom or Microsoft Teams).

Applicants must be available to attend the UEFA Europa Conference League Final on Wednesday 7 June, kicking off at 21:00 local time.

Accessibility Monitors must complete a CAFE Evaluation report and submit this alongside any photos and videos within 48 hours of the final whistle. Accessibility monitors must also be available to clarify responses or provide any additional information up to 48 hours after the end of the game.

CAFE will share all reports, and any supplementary evidence, with UEFA and the host club to highlight any areas of concern or good practice.

CAFE and UEFA hope that feedback received from our Accessibility Monitors will encourage long-term and sustainable improvements for locally based disabled spectators as a legacy of hosting the UEFA Europa Conference League Final.

The CAFE accessibility monitor programme information pack provides more information on the objectives and responsibilities of the role.

To apply, please complete our online form. Alternative formats are available upon request.

Please then email your proof of eligibility to [email protected]. Please ensure that your full name and “UEFA Europa Conference League Final – Prague” is stated in the subject line of your email.

Please note: Without receiving valid proof of eligibility, your application can not be considered.

The closing date for applications is 15:00 CET on Wednesday 31 May 2023. CAFE will let you know if your application has been successful or not later that same day.

If you have any questions, or require an alternative format of the application form, please email CAFE Fan Liaison and Access officer Amy Wilson at [email protected], or call / WhatsApp / text on +44 (0)7960 579 305 weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00 CET.
