AccessibAll is looking to appoint locally based, differently disabled fans to become accessibility monitors at UEFA EURO 2024.

Two locally-based disabled people will be recruited in each host city as volunteers, to attend all matches played in each host city during the tournament and provide detailed user-led feedback on the services, facilities and amenities in place for disabled spectators.

We are recruiting one wheelchair user and one disabled person who is a non-wheelchair user (such as a person with limited mobility, a deaf / hard of hearing person, a blind / partially sighted person, a person with a non-visible disability, or an intellectually disabled person) who resides in each of the ten host cities.

If required, a complimentary companion ticket will be provided to all accessibility monitors.

Accessible parking passes will also be provided, if needed and subject to availability.

Successful applicants will need to submit valid proof of eligibility to AccessibAll. For German-based residents, valid proof of eligibility includes:

  • German Disability ID card – both sides
  • Signed and recently dated doctors / hospital letter stating access requirements / need for accessibility tickets.
  • Both sides of blue badge-style parking passes

A short online training for the successful applicants will be provided via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Applicants must be available to attend all nominated matches played in your applied for host city during UEFA EURO 2024, between 14 June and 14 July 2024.

A good level of English amongst applicants is preferred but is not compulsory.

Successful candidates must complete an AccessibAll evaluation report, and submit this alongside any photos and videos within 24 hours of the final whistle of each match they attend.

Appointed accessibility monitors must also be available to clarify responses and provide additional information up to 48 hours after the end of each match attended.

AccessibAll will share all reports and supplementary evidence with UEFA and the relevant host venue, to allow for changes to be made before the next match is played at that stadium.

AccessibAll and UEFA hope that feedback received from all accessibility monitors will encourage long-term and sustainable improvements for local-based disabled spectators as a legacy of hosting matches during UEFA EURO 2024.
