I’ve been to the Cardiff City Stadium on a few occasions in the last couple of years, getting there from Cardiff city centre is very easy, there are buses that my powered wheelchair can access very easily that stops right outside the stadium. Taxis have been able to drop us right outside the stadium too. Walking from the city centre is also easy to do for wheelchair user as the route is accessible and take around 40 minutes.

Getting access to the stadium is straightforward. The signs around the stadium are very clear and easy to read, and the stewards outside are very helpful.

The lifts to the wheelchair viewing areas are small, usually can only fit one wheelchair user and their carer in or two smaller wheelchairs. There can sometimes be a bit queue before and after games, but it’s no major problem.

I’ve been able to get to the refreshment areas easily and purchased food at the low-level counters. Hot drinks can also be purchased for wheelchair supporters and their carers from within the wheelchair viewing areas.

Each viewing area has toilets very close by that has stewards outside them to ensure that only the disabled fans and their carers can use them. The toilets are kept really clean.

I can see every part of the pitch throughout the entire game, even when the fans in the seats below stand up. My carer is always sat next to me.

Cardiff City Stadium is the best football stadium I have been to.
