SAVE THE DATE – Third CAFE International Conference takes place 16-17 November 2018

CAFE Conference 2015

The CAFE team is delighted to announce that our third International Conference – entitled Total Football Total Access – will take place on 16-17 November 2018.

The CAFE Conference is the largest event of its type, bringing together key stakeholders from football, stadium design, disability and equality to celebrate the many important roles that disabled people can play within the world’s most popular game.

We are currently in advanced negotiations with our potential venue hosts, and plan to confirm the Conference location in the next couple of weeks.

Our two previous International Conferences, London 2011 and Paris 2015, were hugely popular events with hundreds of delegates in attendance.

There are already a number of important topics on the agenda for the CAFE International Conference 2018, including the experiences of disabled fans attending the 2018 FIFA World Cup and a look ahead to the plans for UEFA EURO 2020. There will also be discussions on the Disability Access Officer role, disabled supporters associations, audio-descriptive commentary, digital accessibility and the CAFE Week of Action.

The CAFE International Conference is a unique opportunity to network and meet with many people across all aspects of the game, and will not be an event to miss!

Attendance at the conference is free of charge, and a limited number of travel and accommodation bursaries will be made available.
