The 2018 FIFA World Cup takes place from 14 June – 15 July 2018 with matches to be played in 12 venues across Russia. The Final will be played at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

Ticket sales will go through two phases. The first phase will be conducted through an application process on FIFA’s website.

Disabled fans wishing to purchase Special Access Tickets can do so within four categories: Wheelchair User Tickets, Easy Access Standard Tickets, Easy Access Amenity Tickets and Obese Persons Tickets.

Disabled fans who request Wheelchair User Tickets, Easy Access Standard Tickets or Easy Access Amenity Tickets will also be able to request a complimentary ticket for a companion.

Please note that customers who apply for and purchase Special Access Tickets are required to provide proof of eligibility documents as part of the Ticket Application process. Such proof of eligibility must be provided upon Ticket collection (if applicable) and, upon request, at the entrance to the Stadium.

For Wheelchair User, Easy Access Standard or Easy Access Amenity Tickets, presentation of a proof that is commonly and widely accepted in the Ticket Applicant’s country of residence will be required. In Russia, acceptable proofs of eligibility include a certificate of degree of disability and a medical certificate. For Obese Person Tickets, presentation of a signed doctor’s note stating the person’s BMI will be required. The minimum BMI in order to require and therefore be eligible for an Obese Person Ticket is 35 kg/m2.

Applicants will have until 12 October to submit a form requesting tickets. Tickets will then be allocated by a random selection draw process.

All successful, partially successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications by 16 November.

FIFA General Secretary Fatma Samoura said, “We have put in place a ticketing system that will enable all fans a fair chance to secure tickets. Throughout history, fans have made a key contribution to the fascination of the FIFA World Cup. Russia promises to be a unique continuation of this history, with outstanding organisation and a great atmosphere in the stadiums”.

From 16-28 November, successful applicants will be able to purchase their tickets on a first-come first-served basis.

The Final Draw for the 2018 FIFA World Cup will take place in Moscow on 1 December, and a second sales period will commence four days later.

A final last-minute sales period will commence on 18 April 2018, on a first-come, first-served basis.

At the request of the Russian authorities, all fans attending matches at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ need to apply for a FAN ID – the official identity document issued to fans.

Fans are encouraged to apply for this free document as soon as possible after they received their ticket confirmation email following the conclusion of the random selection draw period.

The FAN ID and a valid ticket are required for fans to be able to enter the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ stadiums.

Having a FAN ID gives fans additional benefits and services provided by the host country, such as visa-free entry to the Russian Federation, certain free inter-host city travel and free use of public transport on matchdays.
