The Download: independent living and assisted dying

With the UK government announcing that the Independent Living Fund (ILF) will close in June 2015, Paul Carter and Ian Macrae of Disability Now ask if 20 thousand ILF users will be forced into institutions.

They discuss football from a disabled fan's perspective and ask if a UK parliamentary vote on the right to die could be the start of a slippery slope for disabled people.

Paul and Ian are joined by CAFE Managing Director (and Chair of Level Playing Field) Joyce Cook, actor and Ipswich Town fan Jamie Beddard, the artist and ILF user Katherine Araniello, and the performer Sophie Partridge, who also uses the ILF.
