Getting there and Parking
Salzburg Airport is the second busiest airport in Austria, however many of the flight connections are seasonal around the skiing season. If flights are unavailable, it may be possible to fly to Munich and travel to Salzburg by train, which takes around 90 minutes (110km).
Salzburg Airport is situated approximately 3km from the city centre, and can be reached via trolleybus services on lines 2 and 10.
The city has rail connections to Vienna, Munich, Innsbruck and Zurich, and acts as a hub for south-bound trains to Italy via the Alps. Salzburg is also connected to many other Austrian towns and cities via rail.
Salzburg has an extensive trolleybus service, and an S-Bahn with 5 lines in operation (S1, S2, S3, S4 and S11).

The Red Bull Arena is approximately 4.5km from central Salzburg and can be reached using O-Bus service 1 from the main railway station. The bus is free to all match ticket holders.
