Access Information for Disabled Supporters

Getting there and Parking

The two main international airports in Belfast are the George Best Belfast City Airport and Belfast International Airport. Belfast International has more connections. Northern Ireland Railways provides suburban services along three lines running through Belfast's northern suburbs, known as the Belfast Suburban Rail system. Belfast also has a direct rail connection with Dublin. There is also a bus service running throughout the city.

There is accessible parking available for blue badge holders and is stewarded on match days. This is located in the Railway End forecourt which can be accessed via Donegall Avenue. Cars parked here will not be able to leave after the game until the surrounding area has been declared safe.

Match: Northern Ireland international matches

Published: 30/4/2017

Windsor Park or The National Football Stadium at Windsor Park (to give it its full title) is the home ground of the Northern Ireland International team and also for NI Premiership club Linfield.

The stadium has had a major refurbishment during 2015-2017 and the access for disabled people has improved dramatically. There 133 wheelchair users spaces + 133 adjacent companion seats, there are also easy access seats sited at various positions such as end of rows or near to entrance/exits. All the premium lounge areas in the South Stand are wheelchair accessible.  The IFA run a 'soccer sight' programme which offers audio commentary for blind or partially sighted fans. There are plenty of accessible toilets, lifts to upper levels and easy to access food/drink stands.

Full signage still has to be installed and parking inside the stadium is a problem area.

For full access/ disability ticket information, contact Norrie or Judith at the IFA ticket office.
