Getting there and Parking

There are three major airports in Moscow - Sheremetyevo International Airport, Domodedovo International Airport and Vnukovo International Airport.

Moscow has many rail links to other major Russian cities, as well as international connections. A metro, tramline, monorail, trolleybus and bus service also operate in the city.

There are four metro stations in the area local to the stadium. CSKA / Khodynskoe Pole is about a 5 minute walk away; Metro stations Polezhaevskaya, Sokol and Airport are each about 15 minutes walk away. The metro is not in itself accessible, but special assistance will be provided if requested in advance.

From the electric train station Zorge it is about 10 minutes walk to the stadium. There are lifts at this station, but a wheelchair user would need assistance when using this station because the gap between the train and the platform is rather big.

Everything at the stadium was brilliant, I had a very good view from my wheelchair space, my companion sat next to me and also had a good view of the game. Finding our way around the stadium was very easy too, I had no problems at all. It was a great game, the fans were great as the stadium was brilliant.

Match: CSKA Moscow v Spartak

We took the Metro to get to the stadium. It was quite difficult to down to and out of the metro station due to the crowds, but apart from this we had no problems in getting to the stadium. There are signs all around the stadium to direct people to the entrances.

Getting around the concourses was easy. I bought refreshments which were a little expensive, but no more expensive than other stadiums in Russia.

Finding the toilets was also easy, they were very clean but disappointingly there was no locks on the toilet doors.

I had a very good view of the pitch and my companion was able to sit next to me.

The match was good and had no other problems in our day.

The only difficulty we found in getting to the stadium was there were very few free car parking spaces for disabled people.

Finding the accessible entrance was easy as there were signs directing us. It was so easy.

We took the lift up to the concourse and was able to get around easily.

It was very easy to find the toilets and they were really clean.

It was also very to find my seat and we had brilliant view and my companion was sat right next to me too. We had a great day and Spartak won too!
