International

Cerebral Palsy International Sports and Recreation Association

CPISRA mission is to promote and develop the means by which people throughout the world can have access to opportunities for participation in sport and recreational activities. We will seek to increase the number of National Members and promote with and through them the value of sport and recreation. 

 

European Deaf Sport Organisation 

40 countries with 50.000 athlets in 1000 Deaf sports clubs are members of the EDSO. In football EDSO is organising European Championships for men and women.

 

European Leukodystrophy Association

Founded in 1992, the European Leukodystrophy Association (ELA) is an Association recognised as being of public utility under the terms of the 1901 French law by a decree of the 13th November 1996.

 

Federation International of Powerchair Football Associations
FIPFA is an independent federation composed of National Organisations governing Powerchair Football in their separate countries (NOPF) one body per affiliated country. Its main mission is the practice, development, coordination and support of Powerchair Football in countries all over the world. For this, it has the responsibility to take charge of the sport at the competition level and put adapted promotional actions in place.

 
International Blind Sport Federation

IBSA was founded in Paris in 1981. IBSA is registered as a non-profit making, public interest body in Spain, and they are full members of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), where they legitimate represents sport for the blind.


 
International Sports Federation for Persons with and Intellectual Disability

Inas is an international charity and the recognised International Federation (IOSD) for athletes with an intellectual disability. It is a global organisation that promotes inclusion through sport and is a full member of the International Paralympic Committee representing intellectual disability.

 

International Paralympic Committee (IPC) 

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is the global governing body of the Paralympic Movement. The IPC organizes the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games, and serves as the International Federation for nine sports, for which it supervises and co-ordinates the World Championships and other competitions.

 

Special Olympics

Special Olympics is a global nonprofit organization targeting the nearly 200 million people round the world who have intellectual disabilities. With a presence in nearly 200 countries worldwide and seven world-region offices, we are constantly expanding. We can say with all truth that “the sun never sets on the Special Olympics movement.

Bitish Blind Sport

BBS are a national registered charity based in Leamington Spa. Since their beginnings in 1976, they have become a leading voice for partially sighted and blind people in the world of sport and leisure. Activities include: archery, athletics, bowls, cricket, football, goalball, shooting and swimming.

 

CP Sport England and Wales

CP Sport provides opportunities for all ages and at all levels from the recreational right through to paralympic competition. If offers many opportunities, for people with cerebral palsy, such as athletics, boccia, bowls, football and swimming.

 

Disability Football Directory

The purpose of the Directory is to share information and to increase awareness of footballing opportunities for disabled people. It is a none profit making, charitable venture, which was designed as a resource for those involved or wanting to get involved in disability football.

 

Disability Sports Events

DSE ensure that from grass roots level to international standard, disabled sports people can participate in sport. They create opportunities for all people with disabilities, from beginners who want to develop their talent, to top British disabled sports people.

 

English Federation of Disability Sport

The English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) is a charity responsible for the promotion and development of sporting opportunities for all disabled people in England. Whether it be elite level or grass roots sport, we work closely with a number of key partners to ensure that the sports sector is informed about and responsible for the diverse opportunities for disabled people.

 

Mencap Sport 

For information and advice on helping your child get involved in sport, you can find out more about Mencap Sport, which promotes opportunities at all levels for people with a learning disability and organise a number of annual events.

 

The Wheelchair Football Association

The Wheelchair Football Association (WFA) was formed in 2005 to govern the sport of Powerchair Football in England. The WFA is recognised by the Football Association as the sports governing body. The WFA work closely with the FA and the "football" network in order to develop more Clubs and playing opportunities across England.

   

Poland

Polish Paralympic Committee

Polish Paralympic Committee (PKPar) was established in August 1998. PKPar pursues and objectives are of equal of those of the International Paralympic movement, that is organizing, promoting and developing activities in the field of disability sport. PKPar is a member of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the European Paralympic Committee (EPC) is the only Polish representative of Paralympic sport in the international arena.


Integrative Rehabilitation and Sports Association "Culani" 

CULANI was founded in 1995. At the beginning our activity concentrated mainly on people with locomotor disabilities. Now everybody may join us - we are open. We provide sport, recreation and rehabilitation acivities for children, young people and adults in the following disciplines: swimming, fencing, angling, table tennis, curling and boccia.


Integrative Association Eurobeskidy

Eurobeskidy exists since 1996. The area of the Association is very broad with following aims: to improve the situation of the local disability community, develop and promotes sports, culture, tourism, and helps with integration of disabled people through active rehabilitation in the framework of organized sports activities. Eurobeskidy obtains its funds from institutions such as the European Union, the Ministry of Sport, PFRON, Marshal's Office, District Office, Municipal Office, and above all from private sponsors.

 


Spain

CEPA - Colectivo de Prevención e Inserción Social

Colectivo de Prevención e Inserción Social - Andalucía, is a non-profit organisation established in 1987. CEPA develops projects with football fans and against discrimination in football, as well as defends supporters and their culture. CEPA is part of FARE and FSE, where it develops some projects. CEPA is based in Cádiz (Andalucía,Spain), and it is in this city where it develops the most of the activities, but it also coordinates campaigns and activities in Spain, like FARE Action Week. All the work of CEPA is made from the perspective of education and prevention.

 

Adapated Sports for the Inclusivity of Disabled People   
The Fundación Também is a non profit and nongovernmental institution with a focus on sports and cultural activities, based in Madrid (Spain). Its objective is the social inclusion of Disabled people through the organisation of sports related activities and events.

 

Switzerland  

Plusport

PLUS PORT is the umbrella organization of Swiss sports for the disabled which was established in 1960 and today has approximately 12,000 members from all language regions of Switzerland . 

 

Ukraine 

Special Olympics Ukraine
Special Olympics Ukraine was officially established in March 2002 though Ukrainian athletes with intellectual disabilities have been taking part in Special Olympics international events and every World Games since 1995. Today we are a pan-Ukrainian organisation with more than 17,000 athletes in 18 regions of the country.

 

Invasport
Invasport is the largest largest network of sport centres for disabled people in Ukraine with representation in all main regions of Ukraine.
