Starting in January 2012, the TUS Foundation has been appointed as the local partner of the Centre for Access to Football in Europe, CAFE (www.cafefootball.eu) to implement the official UEFA EURO 2012 “Respect Inclusion – Football with No Limits” project in Poland.
TUS Foundation was established in 1993 and is based in Warsaw, Poland. It is a public benefit organization with a mission to provide disabled people with tools for a more independent life. For more information please contact: Małgorzata Peretiatkowicz, Fundacja TUS, tel. 22 852 07 34 or e-mail: malgorzata.peretiatkowicz@tus.org.pl
CAFE is a European wide charity established to promote equal access for disabled football fans, to ensure wider inclusion across the game and thereby to enable more disabled people to enjoy live football matches in the future. Within the scope of the project, TUS will be assessing access from the point of view of disabled spectators and gathering information on public premises that are important in each of the 4 UEFA EURO 2012 host cities. The collected data will be available to everybody at www.niepelnosprawnik.eu/projekt/index.php?page=news and via the CAFE website www.cafefootball.eu.
