Football Supporters Europe to host 4th European Football Fans Congress

FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS EUROPE (FSE) TO HOST 4th EUROPEAN FOOTBALL FANS’ CONGRESS WITH FANS FROM 34 COUNTRIES IN BRØNDBY & COPENHAGEN
Football Supporters Europe (FSE), the independent network of grassroots football supporters representing more than 3 million football fans in 37 countries in Europe, is to host its annual event at Brondby and Parken Stadion in Denmark from 1-3 July 2011.
By the deadline for registrations, more than 300 participants from 34 countries have registered for the event, including numerous supporters representatives as well as institutional, governmental and football officials.
Confirmed speakers alongside various local and national fans’ representatives include UEFA Vice-President Senes Erzik, representatives of the European Professional Football Leagues and the Council of Europe, the CEO of the Danish League Claus Thomsen and a representative from the executive level of Brondby IF as well as representatives from the Danish police.
The conference is organised with great support of the fans’ groups Alpha Brøndby, Brøndby Support, FC Kobenhavn Fan Club and the national fans’ organisation DFF as well as of Brondby IF, Copenhagen FC and UEFA. A programme overview can be found via this link.
Journalists are welcome at the opening of the congress on Saturday 2 July 2011 between 10.00-10.30hrs and at the concluding press conference on Sunday, 3 July 2011 at 15.00hrs.
